On the roads of the Alassio Granfondo

ALASSIO INTERNATIONAL GRANFONDOA highly popular route of medium-to-high difficulty, following the roads of the Alassio International Granfondo, an amateur cycling race that attracts numerous cycling enthusiasts and amateur riders every September. A perfect route for those who want to combine sport, effort and spectacular scenery, between the sea and lush green hills.

The route starts at Alassio’s iconic Muretto. For the first few kilometres, you cycle along the coast before reaching the Albenga plain. From here, the route heads inland, where a succession of climbs and hilly roads begins, crossing the upper Arroscia Valley.

Towards the final section, the route climbs through the woods of Siglioli, crosses the picturesque Passo del Ginestro and continues along the panoramic ridge road from Testico to the Sanctuary of Madonna della Guardia, offering fascinating views stretching from the Maritime Alps to the sea.
