In Alassio you can walk along the unbroken 3 km-long beach from the Cappelletta ai Caduti del Mare, a shrine to lives lost at sea, to the cliffs that divide us from Laigueglia
Our quartz sands are famous for their silky softness, making them perfect for building elaborate sandcastles. Down by the water’s edge there is a myriad of white shells which sparkle in the sunshine. The sea bed slopes gently away from the beach, making it the ideal environment for young children and novice swimmers to take a dip with complete confidence.
All of this has earned us the title of the “Jewel in the Crown of the Ligurian Riviera” but for me the most important thing is to give you a great experience at any time of year.
